It would be awesome to be able to store employee's tax information in password secured locations on SV.

I don't want to debug my customer's password problems. They should have the ability to set their user name and their password. Also, would like them to be able to reset their password on their own without interrupting me during tax season.

Need this badly. Don't want to put my own tax return in the system so the whole office can see it.

As someone who is coming from File Cabinet, this is one feature that I would think wouldn't be hard to do, whether at the client level or at the folder level. As stated by someone else, firm owners need somewhere to put firm documents like tax returns and other internal documents that you don't want others to see. I'm not sure why this is not on the roadmap. Now that I have bought SmartVault, I have talked to three other SV users who say the same thing - they can't put their own firm docs here because there are no safe places, which leaves our information less secure than what we have for our clients and have to resort to something like DropBox or some other cloud provider that isn't as secure.

Please add this to the software!

This seems like a fairly easy adaptation. Is this something SV could expedite?

This is a severely necessary feature. Seasonal employees have access to EVERYTHING so I can't use that feature since I dno't want them to have access to certain things. And I can't put our firm tax returns or files on SmartVault because I don't want the Admins to see them. So adding password protection to specific clients would be amazing!!!
